About
Kenneth is an award-winning strategist and storyteller. His background is from a broad spectrum of work, but always on the ever-evolving, intersecting dynamics of technology, society, and human rights.He is a senior advisor and consultant for organisations and social good causes. He led strategy and communications for the United Nations Secretary-General’s Call to Action for Human Rights, World Wide Web Foundation, Alliance for Affordable Internet, Global Digital Inclusion Partnership, and Women in the Digital Economy Fund (WiDEF). He also supported Pacific Island countries under the Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP-Pacific).Prior to that, he was in charge of multimedia, audience engagement, and analytics at the Geneva-based The New Humanitarian, an independent non-profit news organisation previously known as Integrated Regional Information Networks (IRIN News) of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. He also worked as an aid worker for Save the Children and the Red Cross, in both emergency response and development programmes.Before joining humanitarian and international organisations, he was a political aide and campaign advisor for a Philippine senator and minister. After obtaining his engineering degree, he began his career as a product manager at a technology company headquartered in Hong Kong.
